A little about me.
How a New Zealander became a Texan photographer by way of Hawaii.
Hi there! Welcome to Jason Stitt Photography. In case you hadn’t guessed, my name is Jason Stitt. I was born and raised in the beautiful country of New Zealand, but now call the great State of Texas home.
My journey as a photographer started in 2003, while on my honeymoon on the island of Maui. Having purchased a cheap point and shoot digital camera in order to capture memories of the trip, I quickly fell in love with photography. So not long after getting home from our amazing adventure I bought myself a more professional digital camera and began the process of teaching myself how to use it. Over the years that followed, my photographic skills have developed significantly, and my love for photography has continued to grow.
My desire is to capture the beauty of God’s creation, whether that be awe inspiring landscapes, or the image of God as reflected in His greatest masterpiece – people.
