When I arrived to our outdoor session 15 min late, I felt like an idiot and expected to find my wife struggling to keep our kids from dirtying, wrinkling, or ripping the outfits she had worked so hard to coordinate. When Jason saw me approaching, he made it a point to get to me before my family did. And he said, “Hey, I know you feel badly for being late. But listen. You haven’t delayed us at all, as I simply shifted the kids’ individual and group shots to the beginning of the session. And look—your wife is relaxed, your kids are cooperating, and everyone is having a blast with the photos. So, don’t worry about a thing.
